Texas Outpatient Drug Rehab

Outpatient drug rehab at The Ranch at Dove Tree is part of our comprehensive continuum of care. Initial phases of care are highly structured and involve 24-hour support. Outpatient treatment helps you continue recovery while rejoining work, school, home life, and other activities. Many clients taking part in The Ranch at Dove Tree’s outpatient drug treatment have already learned and practiced many important recovery resiliency skills at our nationally acclaimed inpatient drug rehab center.

Some clients with alcohol and drug use issues begin their recovery in an outpatient setting. Effective treatment in long-term drug rehab helps identify any underlying issues (such as anxiety, trauma, or depression), and provide simultaneous treatment. Skills are learned and practiced, and personal goals are set. Outpatient drug treatment is appropriate if you don’t require 24-hour structure and support of residential care.

Texas Outpatient Drug Rehab

The Ranch at Dove Tree’s outpatient drug rehab is not one setting or one program. We offer multiple treatment services, including two transitional housing options that integrate outpatient care. Outpatient drug treatment programs include:

Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
Outpatient program and services
Transitional Living with IOP

The Ranch at Dove Tree’s Intensive Outpatient Program, also called an IOP, requires participants to attend a minimum of 15 hours of substance use and support therapy and activities each week. Group and individual therapy are included in IOP, and it is expected that clients also actively attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), or other community-based sober support groups. Drug testing is also a part of IOP, to help keep clients on track and accountable.

Clients taking part in one of The Ranch at Dove Tree’s outpatient programs live in a variety of places during treatment, such the family home, transitional living houses, and local halfway houses.

We’re very excited to announce that The Ranch at Dove Tree will soon open an outpatient drug rehab center, located in central Lubbock. Outpatient treatment is the next natural step following (and at times concurrent with) IOP. Clients receiving our outpatient services have a well-developed recovery foundation, are more autonomous, and require fewer hours of treatment each month. Outpatient treatment is a time to work on specific objectives or address new problems as they occur.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is a core part of outpatient drug rehab, particularly in IOP. This approach helps clients continue to change patterns of thinking and behavior that supported substance use in the past.
