The Ranch at Dove Tree’s gender-specific transitional living program offers an impressive array of services. Each home is upscale and beautifully decorated, providing the comfort and atmosphere vital to health and wellness.
Clients taking part in our transitional living program (after completing Dove Tree’s residential drug abuse program or at another residential facility) are surrounded with the inspiration and encouragement of others in recovery. They also have the benefit from our on-site 24-hour therapeutic support team. Living in transitional housing maintains a safe, sober environment while increasing accountability, independence, and discipline. Research shows that for emerging adults, living in a recovery residence provides effective social, sober peer support necessary for maintaining and improving recovery skills. Many clients in our Collegiate Program also take advantage of Dove Tree’s transitional housing.

More About Dove Tree’s Exceptional Transitional Housing
TreeHaven for women and TreeHouse for men are two beautiful Lubbock homes. Spacious, upscale and professionally decorated, each provides an atmosphere that promotes the wellness goals central to our recovery. This is transitional housing at its finest.
TreeHaven for Women
Located in a large modern home, TreeHaven offers an expansive tree-shaded back lawn for picnics during the day and stargazing at night. Shared bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and fine linens, with a design palette that caters to women.
Our large dining room creates natural opportunities to practice important social skills. There are also plenty of large common areas to continue to conversation, as well as study nooks to retreat to. We also have a spacious back deck perfect for enjoying sunny days.
TreeHouse for Men
Located on a quiet residential street, TreeHouse is a spacious, Spanish Revival home. More masculine in decoration and design, each bedroom is designed for comfort and rest. Separate study areas and a community computer are also provided at TreeHouse. The home includes large indoor living and dining room areas and multiple outdoor spaces. Of special interest to many clients is the woodworking shop, where past projects have included beautiful, handcrafted canoes and oars. Sober activities and relationships are an important part of recovery resilience, and life at TreeHouse promotes both.
Clients at The Ranch at Dove Tree are not required to take part in each of our levels of care, but are welcome to transition in from other programs. Clients find that our private 5-bed drug detox program is a sound stepping stone to safely prepare for active therapy.
