Our Recovery Programs
Admissions Overview
We understand that seeking help for an addiction can be overwhelming. It is our goal to make the process a smooth and calming process.

After that initial call is made, a comprehensive assessment, performed by licensed counselors, is the first step in creating a personalized recovery plan. The results of this comprehensive assessment provide guidance in choosing an individual's appropriate treatment program. The entire admissions process is confidential. Our Admissions Department will carefully review this comprehensive assessment, and explain any recommendations to you.

Here at Dove Tree, we are so fortunate to have such an outstanding, dedicated, and supportive team of individuals that coordinate our Admissions Department! Our expert Admissions Team is knowledgeable, fully capable, and willing to answer any questions that you may have regarding Dove Tree’s offered treatment programs and beyond. Please do not hesitate to call: 800.218.6727 or email: info@ranchatdovetree.com

Detoxification
Evaluation from the comprehensive assessment performed during the intake process may suggest that detoxification is the recommended first step to take before beginning a recovery program. Detoxification provides medical supervision during the process of withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs in a close, intimate setting.

The Ranch at Dove Tree Beginnings, our facility site for detoxification services, provides individuals with daily access to the facility Medical Director and 24-hour nursing support. In addition, clients participate in individual and group counseling designed to facilitate their transition into the next level of care.

Residential Program
The Ranch at Dove Tree offers two unique Residential Program tracts; Traditional Recovery Program and Collegiate Recovery Program.  Our residential programs offer the most intensive level of recovery services for clients who are unable to stop alcohol or drug use without 24-hour support.

Clients participating in our residential programs participate in a minimum of 30 hours of recovery programming per week. On average, residential clients complete treatment within 30 days.

Traditional Recovery Program
The Traditional Recovery Program offers treatment to men and women in a residential setting.  Each client, with guidance from their primary counselor, will develop an individualized discharge plan prior to program completion.  Individualized discharge plans will include significant recommendations for recovery protection and aftercare services.

Collegiate Recovery Program
The Collegiate Recovery Program recognizes that long-term treatment is the preferred option for young adults with addictive disorders.

Partial Care Program
The Ranch at Dove Tree's partial care services are offered to individuals who do not require 24-hour support to prevent relapse, but need substantial daily support to maintain recovery.

Participants in the Partial Care Program receive an average of 25 hours of recovery programming per week, Monday through Friday.

Additionally, partial care clients and their families are offered the opportunity to participate in our family program.

Intensive Outpatient
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services are well-suited for clients who do not have the need to participate in residential or partial care programs but need assistance with alcohol or other drug related problems. This level of service is also provided as a continuation of support after the completion of residential or partial care programs.

Clients who participate in IOP typically have a safe and supportive home environment and are able to continue to function in their place of employment. IOP clients participate in a minimum of 15 hours of recovery programming per week.

The Ranch at Dove Tree's Intensive Outpatient Program is conveniently located on the Texas Tech University campus in the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery building.

Continuing Care
It is imperative that clients continue to receive support as they transition from their program at Dove Tree into their home, work, or school environment.  If a client is returning to a geographic area that prevents participation in our offered continuing care services, our treatment team will work to ensure accessible, quality services in the area they transition to before they leave Dove Tree.

Education and Recovery
Opportunity for Young Adults
Through our partnership with the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery at Texas Tech University, we are able to present a unique opportunity for young adults.  Our rapidly expanding continuum of care, in addition to our community partnerships, make Dove Tree's services some of the most comprehensive in the country.  We like to call it the Detoxification to Graduation Plan!

After completing the residential Collegiate Program, our discharge planning team may work with our young adults to enroll them in sober living housing in the Lubbock area.  Our clients continue to participate in IOP until they become eligible for enrollment in the nationally-recognized Collegiate Recovery Community program through the Center for the Study of Addiction and Recovery at Texas Tech University.

The Collegiate Recovery Community consists of over 75 students on the campus of Texas Tech University who are in recovery and who are pursuing their educational goals successfully.  With an average GPA of 3.34 and a documented relapse rate of less than 7%, the students in this program are truly living the ideas of lifelong recovery.

Students participating in this community have access to extensive services to support their decision to remain in recovery and to improve life skills, including: scholarships for recovering students, over 20 recovery support group meetings held on campus, and an on-campus sober living option.
